Today is the first day of the London 2012 Festival!
I just wanted to thank you SO much for all your help.
Nobody has ever attempted a Festival in an entire country, over 12 weeks, in every art form, with over 25,000 artists and with 4 million tickets plus over 10 million free tickets and opportunities to take part.
I hope you feel proud to be in the huge family of people and organisations who have made this possible - I am so grateful to you for getting us to this exciting point.
