Velvet
Sunday in the Studio
It has been stormy in Cape Town the last few days, but I have had a lovely day creating in the studio today, well lovely might not be quite the right word.......
It is always a challenge when you start to create a new body of work, it feels a bit like jumping out of an aeoroplane, you are in free fall to begin with... I talk as if I would know, I have never jumped out of a plane!
Anyway I pinned the velvet up on the studio wall and set too, a work in progress, free falling, I am holding my breath, but I can feel the energy of the Bambanani Group all around me.....
Let see what tomorrow brings.

what a surpise the drawing in velvet is beautiful. The residue of chalk remaing after you make your adjustments really adds to the drawing
